Item Guidelines
Every collection at Nic's Picks is thoughtfully curated based on condition, style, brand, and current resale demand.
You don't have to decide what meets our standards before sending your pieces. Simply gather the items you'd like us to review, and we'll thoughtfully curate the collection—selecting the pieces that are the best fit for Nic's Picks.
The guidelines below reflect the types of pieces we're most likely to accept. If you'd like, we're also happy to donate any items we aren't able to consign on your behalf.
01. Pieces We Typically Accept
New With Tags
Brand new, unworn, and accompanied by the original retail tags. Clean and free of damage or noticeable signs of handling.
Excellent Used Condition
Gently worn and in beautiful overall condition. Clean, fully functional, and free of stains, holes, excessive wear, strong odors, pet hair, or missing hardware.
Luxury Exceptions
Select designer and high-value pieces may also be considered with more noticeable signs of wear when their overall resale value remains strong. These pieces must still be authentic, structurally sound, and clean.
02. Pieces We Typically Pass On
While we review every collection individually, we don't typically accept:
Items with stains, holes, or excessive wear
Pieces with strong odors or excessive pet hair
Fast fashion or styles with limited resale demand
Counterfeit or replica items
Not sure about something? Include it anyway—we're happy to review it for you.
03. Preparing Your Pieces
To help your pieces arrive in the best possible condition, we recommend placing them in bags or boxes and removing any personal belongings from pockets.
For local consignors, we offer convenient porch pickup or drop-off by appointment. Outside the Nashville area? Simply ship your collection to us—we'll take care of the rest.
No need to sort everything beforehand. We'll carefully review each piece and select the ones that are the best fit for our collection.
